I finished student teaching yesterday and had my exit interview!!! I'm officially a college grad with a degree in early childhood education and theatre! Yes! It was bittersweet leaving the college yesterday - more sweet than bitter, but still. The Professors are pushing me to get my masters and maybe one day teach at the college. I would totally be up for that! :) In time though, in time.
So I was reading a friends blog while she is away in Spain and thought what a cool idea to share what is going on with friends and family! I've decided that I will blog about my adventures in Europe (as best as I can).
I'm two days away from boarding a plane and heading across the big lake to the Czech Republic and Hungary on an Education/Mission trip. We will touring the Czech Repulic for a week and then we will head to Hungary to teach an English camp to High School students.
I've got so much to do today to get ready. Since I have been student teaching I've had little to no time to get anything done around our apartment. So that is the first thing on my list - clean the apartment. I'm also making dinner for my best friend, Anna, her husband Brandon, and their new son JORDAN (even though he won't be eating it)! Making some yummy turkey sandwhichs. I got my bird in this morning aroundf 8:30, so that's going. I've got to get to the doctor today and then finally get packing. Tomorrow I'm spending the day with my mom. It will be nice to see her before I'm gone for two weeks. She's already voiced her concern that she won't be able to talk to me for two whole weeks - what will she do! :)
So, this is just a introduction to my blog - haha! Never thought I would be a blogger! Yikes! Hope you are able to keep up! :)
